Examples include: thoughts or images about sex (e.g. being a paedophile) or about being violent (stabbing a baby), immoral or sacrilegious. Thoughts about killing yourself (when you don’t want to) or doubts about whether you truly love your partner (when you do). Doubts about your sexual orientation (for example being gay when you are actually not gay)
Existential Obsessions: Why do I exist? What will happen when I die? Am I in a computer program like the Matrix? Will God be offended? Have I left another world behind? Am I in the wrong place? Are the people around me real? Do I have a head?
